Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-26 · Effective: 2026-05-26
1. Summary
- You can cancel any time from your billing portal. Service continues until the end of the current billing period.
- If a free trial is offered, you can cancel before it ends to avoid being charged. Trial terms are shown at sign-up.
- We do not pro-rate refunds for the unused portion of a paid period when you cancel voluntarily.
- We will refund a recurring charge in full if you request it within 7 days of that charge and have not used the service materially during the period.
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method via our payment processor and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
2. Trials & your first charge
Where a free trial or introductory offer is available, its length and the date of your first charge are presented clearly at sign-up. You can cancel any time before the trial ends from your billing portal and you will not be charged. If you cancel during a trial, you retain access until the trial period ends.
3. Recurring subscriptions
Paid plans auto-renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Cancellation is one action in your billing portal and takes effect at the end of your current period — you keep access until then. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods on voluntary cancellation.
4. Goodwill refunds
We will refund a recurring charge in full if all of the following apply:
- You request the refund within 7 days of the charge.
- You have not materially used the service during the relevant billing period (for example, no posts, replies, or profile changes published through Krenly).
- You have not previously requested a goodwill refund.
This is offered at our discretion as a goodwill gesture, not as a contractual right. Repeated goodwill-refund requests may be declined.
5. Service-failure refunds
If core features are unavailable for a continuous period of more than 7 calendar days due to issues on our side (excluding planned maintenance announced at least 24 hours in advance, customer-side outages such as revoked Google/Meta permissions, or third-party outages beyond our reasonable control), we will issue a pro-rated refund or account credit for the affected days.
Note: search rankings, review volume, and publishing outcomes on Google, Instagram, and Facebook depend on those platforms and on real-world factors outside our control. Krenly drafts, tracks, and publishes with your approval — it does not guarantee a specific rank, score, or business result, and movement in those metrics is not a service failure.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us at [email protected] before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We usually resolve billing disputes within 48 hours. A chargeback filed without a prior attempt to contact us may result in immediate account suspension.
7. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with:
- Your account email address
- The date and amount of the charge in question
- A brief explanation of your request
We respond to refund requests within 2 business days.
8. Payment processor
Krenly uses a third-party payment processor (Razorpay in India). Card details are handled by the processor, not stored by us. Refunds are issued via the same processor to your original payment method; processing time varies by your bank but is typically 5–10 business days.
